Tweakr Privacy Policy

Tweakr is a browser extension that customizes the X.com and Twitter.com web interface.

What Tweakr stores

• Your extension settings and tweak selections.
• Your saved watch list inside the extension UI.
• A local browser installation ID used only inside the extension.

What Tweakr reads

Tweakr reads page structure and post content on X.com and Twitter.com so it can hide or show timeline items, apply content filters, apply country and region filters, adjust layout and theme behavior, and show account-location labels where supported.

What Tweakr does not do

• It does not send your settings, watched accounts, or X browsing data to a remote server in the Chrome extension build.
• It does not sell personal data.
• It does not use data for advertising.

Permissions

• storage: saves settings in your browser.
• tabs: updates open X tabs after settings change.
• Host access for x.com and twitter.com: required so the extension can read and customize those pages.

Data sharing

This Chrome extension build does not share stored user data with third parties.
